This is a fabric intended for outdoor use but has a soft hand feel like an indoor fabric would have. All outdoor fabrics come with a zip cover so can be removed and washed in the washing machine. Outdoor fabrics do not fade and are intended for usage with the sun. Outdoor fabrics do not shrink when washed.
